Virtual Models: The New Digital Face of Fashion E-Commerce?
We released CloseUp about two years ago. At the time, it was our big update to make QA a better experience. It launched back then with better image quality and shortcuts. Two years later, we have more updates to continue making reviewing images intuitive, easy, and faster.

Predefined Comments with Color Markups

Our product team examined the most common phrases used for markups across our platform to create predefined markup colors. When marking up, you can use these colors to mark up your image, and the notes will automatically be attached.

  • Red Remove: Indicate elements or areas that should be removed.
  • Orange - Smooth: Highlight areas that need smoothing or blurring.
  • Yellow - Clean: Mark regions requiring basic cleanup or touch-ups.
  • Green - Straighten: Identify elements that should be straightened or aligned.
  • Blue - Reduce: Suggest reducing creases, imperfections, or other attributes.
  • Purple - Shape: Emphasize shaping adjustments or contours.
  • Black - Restore: Mark areas that need restoration to the original input.

Don't worry if what you need isn’t on our predefined list. You can still choose a color and leave your own general retouch instructions or feedback. For pro users, you’ll have 1 additional color and Enterprise users have 3 additional colors and a general text box to leave comments. Our goal is to make it fast and concise but flexible for your QA process.

Saved Markups

Want to review all your markups before submitting them? No problem. With our latest update, you can save your markups in your rejection cart and review, edit, or delete them before submitting them back to Pixelz.

General UI/UX Improvements

We’ve also made several enhancements to our UI and UX. These improvements have been made across most areas of CloseUp, making your user experience more intuitive and consistent.

This includes navigation updates and ensuring the entire interface is up-to-date and consistent. We’ve also introduced more visual cues, so you know where you are and the status of all your images.

For example, when viewing images in CloseUp, you’ll find dots in different colors to represent image status:

  • Image approved
  • Image awaiting approval
  • Image with markups
  • Rejected Image

Breadcrumbs

We've implemented breadcrumb navigation to make it easier to navigate your orders and images. To hop into a new order, click on the name in the Navigation to head back to the image order page or the overall order page.
